St. Charles Police Reports

• Steven D. Scurti, 18, of the 36W000 block of Fieldcrest Drive, St. Charles, was charged Monday, July 1, with possession and consumption of alcohol as a minor.

• Alexander B. Halfpenny, 19, of the 7N900 block of Dogwood Drive, St. Charles, was charged Monday, July 1, with possession and consumption of alcohol as a minor.

• Brian R. Pedersen, 22, of the 900 block of Stanton Street, Batavia, was charged Sunday, June 30, with unlawful possession of a title and registration, unlawful display of license plate and registration sticker, registration suspended for no insurance, disobeying a traffic control device and operating an uninsured vehicle.

• Anayeli Ruiz, 29, of the 1200 block of North Kings Cross, West Chicago, was charged Saturday, June 29, with driving without a valid license and speeding.

• David R. Morawski, 52, of the 900 block of Tall Grass Court, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, June 29, with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Justin R. Taylor, 22, of the 1600 Shamrock Drive, Aurora, was charged Saturday, June 29, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of 2.3 to 10 grams of marijuana and illegal transportation of alcohol.

• Alejandro Rios-Garcia, 22, of the 1300 block of South 14th Street, St. Charles, was charged Thursday, June 27, with driving without a valid license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

• Daniel Carrera, of the 500 block of West Main Street, St. Charles, was charged Monday, July 1, with driving with a revoked license and was arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant out of DuPage County for driving under the influence.

• A man reported Monday, June 24, that a radar detector was stolen from his vehicle sometime between 8 and 11:30 p.m. while it was parked in the 300 block of East Main Street in St. Charles. The vehicle was locked, but a window was left partially open.

• Arturo Contreras-Landeros, 34, of the 0-100 block of South Mclean Boulevard, Elgin, was charged Thursday, June 27, with driving without a valid license and disobeying a traffic control device.

• A 2000 Yamaha Waverunner jet ski was reportedly dumped on the south side of the Garden Row Foods building in the 400 block of Stone Drive, St. Charles. It appeared to be stripped of all mechanical parts, but there is no indication that it was stolen.

• Efran Romero-Salinas, 43, of the 30W000 block of May Street, West Chicago, was charged Thursday, June 27, with driving without a valid license.

• David Lloyd Osborne, 37, of the 1300 block of South 14th Street, St. Charles, was charged Wednesday, June 26, with criminal damage to property after breaking a chair in a St. Charles Police Department interview room. He had been using the chair to try to pry the door open, according to police reports.
