Mercer named as national sales manager for Sno Gem Inc.

Sno Gem Inc., a McHenry-based manufacturer and distributer of cutting-edge snow retention systems for all types of roofs, has announced the promotion of Terry Alan Mercer of Crystal Lake to national sales manager.

Mercer joined the company in 2006. He was an account executive, and in early 2012 was named senior account executive.

“Alan’s performance in sales over his tenure at Sno Gem has been influential to the company’s success,” said James T. Carpenter, vice president of operations of Sno Gem Inc. “This promotion is a result of his hard work and he deserves the recognition and responsibility of the new position.
