WHITE HEATH — Anna Marie Eickmeier, 70, of White Heath, Ill., passed away at 10:36 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her residence in White Heath.
Anna was born Aug. 12, 1942, in Princeton, the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Kelm) Klingenberg. She married Stanley E. Eickmeier Oct. 30, 1960, in Kasbeer.
Anna retired from Kraft Food after 25 years of service. She also worked part-time at the Steeple Gallery in Monticello. She enjoyed antiquing, going on the Piatt County Barn tours over the years, but her greatest love was her family and being the family matriarch.
Surviving is her husband, Stanley; her sons, Kevin (Krista) Eickmeier of Monticello, and Kerry (Kimberly) Eickmeier of Champaign; her grandchildren, Eric Eickmeier, Jenna Eickmeier, Katherine Eickmeier, Kassandra Eickmeier, and Kolten Eickmeier; stepgrandchildren, Clark Csiki, and Seth Csiki; her sister, Lois Purkey of Lisle; and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the Seymour Fire Department, the Mill Breast Cancer Center or the Macular Degeneration Foundation.
