William Mark James Webb

DAVENPORT, Iowa – William Mark James Webb, 62, of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1951, in Davenport, the son of Homer and Mary (Dolan) Webb. He served in the Navy. In 1976, he married Mary (Sylvia) Canales in Rock Falls. Since 1981, he was employed at Central Power Iowa Cooperative as chief engineer in Montpelier, Iowa.

He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; five sisters, Pat Horn of Rock Falls, Ann Connell of Clearwater, Fla., Rene (Matt) Pillsbury of Chariton, Iowa, Kris Tyne of Rock Falls, and Regina Weeks of Loganville, Ga.; three brothers, Bernard (Dixie) Webb of Ankeny, Iowa, Mark (Kathy) Webb of Clearwater, Fla., and Raymond James (Audrey) Webb of Dunedin, Fla., brothers- and sisters-in-law, Leticia Cervantes of Sterling, Gracie (Armando) Ramirez of Las Vegas, Cynthia (Rick) Velazquez of Rock Falls, Janie (Gustavo) Gonzalez of San Benito, Texas, and Valdemar (Bobbi Jo) Canales of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill H. and Mary C. Webb, and his twin sister, Jill M. Lawler.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Runge Mortuary in Davenport. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Davenport.
