Jessica Holloway of Jacksonville and David Murphy of Canton were united in marriage July 28 in St. James Catholic Church in Decatur.
The bride is the daughter of Kay and Jim Tapscott of Decatur, and Ken and Coleen Holloway of Sullivan. The groom is the son of Tom and Mary Murphy of Tiskilwa.
Dawn Shade, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenny Brilley, Nikki Kennedy, Lauren Cheng, Lisa Shafar and Lena Brumleve, all friends of the bride. Halle Shade, niece of the bride, was a junior bridesmaid. Alia Rowles, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
Matthew Murphy, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Stephen Corban, Drew Schilling, Michael Smith, Nowell Moore and A.J. Metzler, all friends of the groom. Reid Holloway, brother of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception to honor the couple was held at the Decatur Country Club in Decatur.
After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Danvers.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of St. Teresa High School in Decatur and 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. She is employed by Diversified Services.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Princeton High School and 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. He is the resource manager for LG Seeds in Elmwood.
