Lemont police charge four with driving under the influence

The Lemont Police Department charged four with driving under the influence of alcohol earlier this month.

Edward Kurpieski Jr., 23, of 1772 Gloucester Court in Wheaton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and expired registration at 11:14 p.m. Oct. 20 in the intersection of Archer Avenue and I-355, according to reports.

Christopher Cizmar, 32, of 15510 Thornwood Lane in Homer Glen, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, illegal squealing of tires and improper lane usage at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the intersection of Illinois and State streets, according to reports.

Karla Mercado, 29, of 24 W. Meagan Lane in Lemont, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, an accident involving no injuries and improper lane usage at 8:46 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 13200 block of Derby Road, according to reports.

Dennis Temko, 37, of 405 McCarthy Road in Lemont, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at 1:29 a.m. Saturday in the intersection of New Avenue and Timberline Drive, according to reports.
