STERLING – Sandra Adams Hambley-Miller, 66, of Sterling, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at her home.
Sandra was born Sept. 28, 1945, in Sterling, the daughter of Wilbur and Mamie (Letcher) Adams.
Survivors include three daughters, Connie Polhill and Toniette Hambley, both of Sterling, and Arnette Ross of Rock Falls; four sisters, Joyce (Al) Schwitter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Eleanor Vidal of Wheatridge, Colo., Irene Schneider of Sterling, and Teresa VanDrew of Rock Falls; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and special friend, Ted Hambley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Tina Fischbach and Lesa Miller; one sister, Betty Dravis; one brother, George Schneider; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Harts, pastor of City of God in Sterling, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial has been established.
