Littel – Cronauer wed

Audra Littel of Lake Zurich and Nicholas Cronauer of DeKalb were married on Sept. 30, 2011, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Lake Zurich. The Rev. David F. Ryan presided over the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara Littel of Lake Zurich. She is a 2009 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at St. Anne's grade school in Barrington.

The groom is the son of Charles and Julie Cronauer of DeKalb. He is a 2008 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a 2011 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law.

Erin Littel of Lake Zurich, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Peterson of  Monee and Anna Pence of Watseka, both friends of the bride, and Erin Littel of Lockport, sister-in-law of the bride.

Alex Cronauer of DeKalb, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were James Cronauer of Huntley and Chad Cronauer of Creston, brothers of the groom, and Tyler Klotz of Big Rock and  Brian Prochazka of San Francisco, friends of the groom.

Kyle Littel of Lockport, brother of the bride, and Craig Hawes of Naperville, friend of the groom, served as ushers.

Flower girls were Addison Littel of Lockport, niece of the bride, and Annie Cronauer of Huntley, niece of the groom.

Chris Hansen of  Fairbury, friend of the groom, Pam McDonald of Lakeville, Minn., aunt of the bride, and Maggie Littel of Fox River Grove, cousin of the bride, served as readers.

An evening of dinner and dancing followed the ceremony at Audubon Hall at Independence Grove Lake County Forest Preserve in Libertyville. A wedding trip is being planned for this summer. The couple resides in Huntley.
