MILLEDGEVILLE – Linda Marie Clough, 61, formerly of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011, at her home, after an extended illness.

Linda was born July 1, 1949, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Albert Jr. and Viola Rose (Bullard) Fisher. On Sept. 14, 1968, she married George David Clough in Nauvoo. He passed away on Sept. 30, 2005.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband; and one sister, Janet Clark.

Survivors include her mother, Viola Fisher of Hamilton; one son, Kevin David Clough and his wife, Gina of Hope Mills, N.C.; one daughter, Angela Clough of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, Christopher David Clough and Isabelle Sophia Clough, both of Hope Mills, N.C.; one brother, John Fisher of Hamilton; two sisters, Joyce Tuttle and her husband, Richard of Hamilton and Betty Stewart of Elvaston; 11 nieces, Misty Tuttle Gardner, Amy Tuttle Stevenson, Brooke Thacher Dadant, Brandy Clark Cunningham, Leslie Clough Cochran, Amy Hultquist, Kim Hultquist, Anna Clough, Julie Hultquist, Sarah Clough and Ariel Clough; 11 nephews, Troy and Andy Perry, Brian Clough, Ramon Fisher, Troy Thacher, Lance, Matt and Ryan Clark, James Eyster and Raymond and John Clough; seven great-nieces; and 12 great-nephews.

Linda most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed the special friendships that she developed with her co-workers at PNC. Her favorite hobby was decorating her Victorian home. She loved listening to music and reading. She was strong in her faith in God and Jesus, and was a diligent and devoted Christian.

She was employed at PNC, Polo, since 1987. She previously worked at Sheller Globe.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milledgeville, followed by the funeral service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Rick Koch officiating. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton, with Pastor Hugh Ferguson officiating. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Home, Milledgeville.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
