OSAGE, Iowa – Ada Mae Hennigar, 81, of Osage, Iowa, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa. She was a securities broker and was employed by A.C. Nielsen.

She was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Rockwell, Iowa, the daughter of Clifford and Alice (Gallinger) Hennigar. She married William Bielefeld on June 18, 1949, in Rockwell, Iowa. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Margie (Glen) Hughes of Dixon, Kathy (John) McLaughlin of Mason City, Iowa, Teri (Ollie) Jeffries of Osage, Iowa, Jane (Ken “Orville”) Henderson of Floyd, Iowa, William (Dewita) Bielefeld of Lindstrom, Minn., and Marc Bielefeld of Osage, Iowa; two brothers, Layton Hennigar of Yakima, Wash., and Jim (Mona) Hennigar of Fort Madison, Iowa; one sister, Mary Smith of Anaheim, Calif.; one stepsister, Janet McCallister of California; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Winnifred Hennigar; two brothers, Don and Calvin Crass; two stepsisters, Kay Austin and Jean Pierce; and one grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, Iowa, with the Rev. John Moser officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date at Rockwell City Cemetery, Rockwell, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Scripture wake service at 8 p.m., today at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, Iowa.
