An accident on the north edge of Ogle County sent four people to area hospitals Nov. 12.
The crash south of German Valley at the intersection of Montague Road and South Rock City Roads occurred shortly after 2:15 p.m.
According to a crash report released by the Stephenson County Sheriff's Department, a vehicle driven by Colleen J. Geiseman, 60, Dakota, was eastbound on Montague Road and stopped at the the stop sign.
At the same time a truck driven by Robert W. Lenz, 66, Mt. Morris, was traveling north on Rock City Road.
Traffic at the intersection is controlled by stop signs on Montague Road. Traffic on Rock City Road is not required to stop.
A witness was behind Geiseman's vehicle and observed the accident.
The report said Geiseman pulled into the intersection and Lenz moved to the right and applied brakes to try and avoid an accident.
Lenz's truck struck Geiseman's vehicle in the passenger side door. The truck overturned and came to rest west of Geiseman's vehicle in the northeast ditch.
German Valley Fire, German Valley Ambulance, Mt. Morris Ambulance, Tri-District Ambulance, and Freeport Rural Ambulance responded to the scene.
Jeffrey A. Klock, 44, Freeport, a passenger in the vehicle,was transported by Freeport Rural Ambulance to FHN Memorial, Freeport.
Katharine G. Klock, 5, Freeport, was also a passenger in Geiseman's vehicle. She was transported by Lifeline Helicopter to Rockford Memorial Hospital.
Geiseman was transported to FHN Memorial by Tri-District Ambulance.
Lenz was transported by Mt. Morris Ambulance to OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
Condition reports were not available on Tuesday.
Geiseman was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop intersection.
The Illinois State Police and Ogle County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
