The Grundy County Circuit Court Grand Jury, when it met in its monthly session on Wednesday, Nov. 10, returned indictments against the following defendants:
Jennifer Olson, 38, was indicted on three counts of driving under the influence, a Class 2 felony, for an Oct. 6 incident. She also was indicted on four additional counts of DUI, Class 4 felonies. Olson has at least two prior DUI charges from 2008, and was driving on a revoked license, according to the court file.
Mark Coil, 54, 309 Liberty St, was indicted on an Oct. 24 charge of aggravated battery to a child, a Class 3 felony. The action was allegedly against a child 13-year-old or under.
Carlos Zuniga, 30, was indicted on an Oct. 3 charge of driving under the influence, a Class 4 felony. He was indicted on a second count of driving on a suspended license. Zuniga has a prior charge of driving while license suspended from 2007, according to the file.
David Hayes, 49, was indicted on a Sept. 22 charge of driving while license revoked, a Class 4 felony. Hayes has a previous charge of driving while license revoked from 2007. His license is currently revoked for a charge of driving under the influence, according to the file.
Michael Lewis, 51, was indicted for an Oct. 26 charge of driving under the influence, a Class 4 felony. Lewis was also indicted on a second count of DUI, a Class 2 felony, and has at least two prior charges of DUI, according to the file. In addition, he also was indicted on a charge of driving while license revoked, a Class 4 felony. He had his license revoked for charges of DUI and had driven with a revoked license at least once before.
Ian Manthey, 21, was indicted on two counts of driving under the influence, a Class 4 felony, for a Sept. 26 incident. Manthey was driving on a suspended driver’s license, according to the file.
Michele Koehler, 43, 754 E. Main St., was indicted on an Oct. 2 charge of burglary, a Class 2 felony. Koehler allegedly entered 214 W. North St. with the intent to commit theft.
Dawne Godina, 43, 101 Mabel Court, was indicted on a charge of theft, a Class 3 felony. Godina intended to take money in excess of $300 from a man.
Juan Olvera and Eduardo Lopez, 25, both of 803 Thomas Dr., were indicted on Aug. 21 charges of aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony. Olvera allegedly struck two people in the parking lot of Travel America gas station in Morris.
James Dudley, 41, of Coal City, was indicted on a Sept. 10 charge of criminal damage to government supported property, a Class 4 felony. Dudley allegedly damaged a rear, passenger-side window of a squad car, causing damage in excess of $500.
Lester Cracraft, 26, of Minooka, was indicted on an Oct. 12 charge of aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony.
Stanley Lee Jr., 18, of Chicago, was indicted on a June 7 charge of theft, a Class 3 felony. Lee allegedly attempted to commit theft at a local BP gas station.
Jennifer Sorensen, 23, of Dwight, was indicted on an Oct. 25 charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance containing heroin, a Class 4 felony.
Kyle Bromberek, 19, of Seneca, was indicted on an Oct. 27 charge of theft, a Class 3 felony. Bromberek allegedly intended to take money in excess of $300 from a man.
Victoria Faris, 20, and Jason Ramsey, 27, both of Gardner, were indicted on an Oct. 25 charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance containing heroin, a Class 4 felony.
Brandon Kindelspire, 21, 706 E. Illinois Ave., was indicted on two counts of a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, a Class 3 felony, that occurred on April 18. Kindelspire allegedly did not register within three days of moving.
Zhenia Buttry, 19, and Theresa Crumb, 18, both of 114 E. Benton St., were indicted on an Oct. 1 charge of criminal damage to government supported property, a Class 3 felony. The indictment is for multiple counts: one for damage in excess of $500, but not more than $10,000, to a Morris squad car; and two counts of damage to two citizen vehicles in excess of $300, but less than $10,000.
Joseph Malewski, 57, of Chicago Ridge, was indicted on a May 21 charge of retail theft, a Class 3 felony. Malewski allegedly intended to steal a lawnmower and high wheel trimmer worth in excess of $150 from the Morris Sears store.
Edgardo Nevarez Jr., 36, of Pennsylvania, was indicted on Nov. 1 charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, and possession of methamphetamine, a Class X felony.
Demion Thomas, 27, of Chicago, was indicted on an Oct. 4 charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, a Class 4 felony.
Starlette Higgins, 23, of Springfield, was indicted on an April 27 charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance containing cocaine, a Class 1 felony. Higgins was also indicted on a second count of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver.
Javonte Tate, 26, of Indiana, was indicted on an Oct. 19 charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, a Class 4 felony.
Marque Lucas, 33, of Harvey, was indicted on June 27 charges of unlawful possession of cannabis, a Class 2 felony, and possession with the intent to deliver, a Class 1 felony.
