Calligaris, Niewinski to wed

Christine Calligaris and Brandon Niewinski, both of Morris, are proud to announce they are engaged to be married.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charles and Karen Calligaris of Morris. The prospective groom is the son of Henry and Fran Barber of Elmhurst, Ill., and Michael and Gail Niewinski of Morris.

Christine is a 2001 graduate of Morris Community High School. She acquired her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill., and her master’s degree from St. Xavier University. She is employed as a first-grade teacher at Nature Ridge Elementary School in Bartlett, Ill.

Brandon is a 2002 graduate of Morris Community High School. He acquired his bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill. He is employed as a seventh-grade math teacher at Bednarcik Junior High School in Oswego, Ill.
