DIXON – A Milwaukee man was extradited to Lee County this week and is in jail on a $250,000 bond for selling cocaine to a police informant in January, according to police.
Toriano A. Garner, 29, is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church and within 1,000 feet of a senior citizen center, both punishable by 4 to 15 years in prison; unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, punishable by 3 to 7 years in prison; and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, punishable by 1 to 3 years in prison.
Police say Garner sold less than a gram of cocaine with a street value of $100 to the informant in the 300 block of South Ottawa Street on Jan. 1.
A police informant tipped off police that Garner was coming to Dixon to sell cocaine, said Detective Matt Richards.
Garner was arrested by Milwaukee Police on March 8 and was brought Thursday to the Lee County Jail.
