Denise L. Walker and Edward A. Sarto, both of Joliet, will unite in marriage Saturday, June 19, 2010.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Georgette Walker of Morris. The prospective groom is the son of Stephen and Lori Sarto of Hampshire, Ill.

Denise graduated from Northern Illinois University, earning a bachelor’s degree in family and child studies with an emphasis in child development. She is currently working on a second degree to become a registered nurse.

Denise is employed as a student nursing assistant and a unit secretary in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Edward graduated from the University of North Dakota, earning a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics with a major in commercial aviation. He is employed as a personal pilot for the Siracusano-Sleezer Group, Inc., and is a flight instructor out of the Aurora Airport.
