What we offer: The mainly Italian restaurant offers pasta dishes, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, ribs, and fried chicken among other items. Specialties include the Hurricane pizza, a 24-inch pizza that has 42 slices. Free delivery is offered within Rock Falls and Sterling.
Owner: Nick Cimino, 41, of Rock Falls, bought the restaurant and opened on Sept. 28. He was born in Sicily, but grew up in Freeport. He has five children – Daniela, 22, Tony, 16, Michael, 13, Nicolas, 12, and Analisa, 6. He originally owned the Primo Cimino’s in Rock Falls, and Cimino’s in Sterling and Dixon before selling the restaurants and moving to Freeport 5 years ago.
Founded: There are about 20 Cimino’s restaurants in Las Vegas, Freeport, Dixon and Clinton, Iowa. All are owned by different family members. The original Cimino’s opened in 1970 in Freeport.

We’re special: All sauces, including the spaghetti sauce, Alfredo, marinara and the dough are homemade.
