Publication names all 3 Lincoln-Way high schools among best in the nation

More than 18,000 schools from all 50 states ranked by U.S. News & World Report

Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 will continue to use the MacKay Center for its Bridges Program.

All three schools in Lincoln-Way High School District 210 made the U.S. News & World Report 2021 Best High Schools rankings.

Lincoln-Way East ranked 1,254th nationally and 54th in Illinois, according to the release. Lincoln-Way Central ranked 1,303rd nationally and 55th in the state, and Lincoln-Way West ranked 1,916th in the country and 81st in Illinois.

The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings includes data on more than 23,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. More than 18,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college, according to the release.

U.S. News ranks schools based on categories including college readiness, Advanced Placement exams, math and reading proficiency, and graduation rates.

District 210 is composed of nearly 7,000 students across its three campuses. All three schools also have been designated as exemplary by the Illinois State Board of Education, and they tout a 96% graduation rate.

Lincoln-Way administrators also recently laid out the financial and technological progress the district has made over the past year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
