The New Lenox Village Board will hold a special recognition of Ray Tuminello at its meeting on Monday.

Tuminello, a New Lenox resident, will be recognized for his years of service as a New Lenox Plan Commission member, trustee and Will County board member.

Mayor Tim Baldermann said that it is happening now because Tuminello is done politically. Tuminello most recently served on the Will County Public Works and Transportation Committee and was one of those in favor of the license plate reading camera proposal.

Monday’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. and his recognition is the first item on the agenda.
