Second Jimmy John’s coming to Romeoville

The new stand-alone restaurant is proposed for a location on Route 53

Jimmy John's

The village of Romeoville announced that a second Jimmy John’s restaurant will open next year on the village’s east side.

The new stand-alone store is proposed to occupy the vacant lot south of Burger King at Romeo Plaza on Route 53, according to a social media announcement.

It would be a 1,200 square foot building with a drive through, according to the village.

Once approved, construction would start next spring with a late summer opening.

There is already one Jimmy John’s in Romeoville on Weber Road.
