Antone initially was recruited to lead the development of the hospital’s cardiac service line. She also helped set up the first outpatient cardiac catheterization lab with Heartland Cardiology, according to a news release from Silver Cross.

Antone was responsible for diagnostic Imaging and worked closely with radiologists to expand Silver Cross’ capabilities, which included the design and implementation of Silver Cross’ Center for Women’s Health. She also helped plan and execute Silver Cross’ 2012 move to the new hospital campus in New Lenox and developed and led the hospital’s procedural care unit. Now as vice president of clinical operations, Antone’s scope also will include the emergency department and the Homer Glen Health Center, according to the release.
