A Joliet man has been charged with the first-degree murder of another man killed in a May 8 shooting.

On Thursday, Willis Ellis, 58, was charged with the first-degree murder of Lyndon Hunt, 60, after the two were involved in an argument on the porch of the residence on Nicholson Street in Joliet.

Hunt suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and he was taken to Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, where he was pronounced dead.
