For the second year, 30 Days for 30 Vets will give veterans around McHenry County needed fixes and upgrades to their homes.

The McHenry Music Fest, now in its fourth year, is set to start Friday, with parking opening at 2 p.m. each day, gates opening at 3:30 p.m.

With this year's McHenry Music Festival set to kick off Sept. 12, the McHenry City Council this week gave its nod to the 2026 event - with one dissenting vote.
