Mercyhealth Harvard hospital to light annual holiday tree

Members of the community can buy a light in honor or memory of a special someone

The Mercyhealth Association of Volunteers is accepting donations to buy a light for its 36th Annual Love Light Tree in honor or memory of a special someone this holiday season.

The outdoor tree will be lit nightly at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Harvard, 901 Grand St., Harvard, beginning Dec. 7 and throughout the holiday season, according to a news release.

Donations for the Love Light Tree go directly to Wigs for Patients, Meals on Wheels and Hospitality House, three Mercyhealth Association of Volunteers’ community service projects. Each $3 donation represents one light on the tree.
