Veterans Day Recognition Concert planned by Crystal Lake church

St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Crystal Lake will host a Veterans Day Recognition Concert at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, followed by a tribute Mass at 7 p.m.

The concert will feature members from all of the St. Thomas the Apostle choirs, including the traditional, contemporary and children’s choirs as well as the handbell ringers, a brass quintet and timpani.

A reception will follow in the Community center. The church is located at 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave.

Admission is free, but a free will donation is requested, of which 50% will benefit Veterans Path to Hope.
