Several taken to hospital after crash near Hampshire

Several people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle crash Saturday evening near Hampshire.

Kane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the serious crash, involving a semi-truck and a minivan, on Route 27 near Walker Road, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office said in an email to news outlets.

Included in those taken to the hospital was one adult with serious injuries who was flown from the scene to a Rockford Hospital.

The Kane County Sheriff’s Office said more information on the crash will be released later.
