Route 14 bridge work to begin this week in Fox River Grove

Lanes will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Illinois Department of Transportation is beginning work on a new project on the Route 14 bridge, leading to temporary lane closures, the village of Fox River Grove announced Tuesday.

Slated to begin this week, IDOT plans to clean and paint underneath the bridge. The project will require temporary lane closures between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. while work occurs.

The project is expected to be complete by November, officials said.
