McHenry-based Miller Formless names new president

Miller Formless, a worldwide provider or concrete slipform paving solutions, has announced Joe Ouellette as its new president.

Ouellette will be tasked with leveraging his “extensive operational expertise to enhance brand recognition, increase market share and boost profitability at Miller Formless,” according to a news release.

“We are thrilled to welcome a driven, multitalented professional like Joe to our leadership ranks,” said Tom Uutala, a principal of Miller Formless. “His adeptness at optimizing organizational structures, minimizing operational costs and forming strategic alliances will help us maintain a position of strength as an industry-leading construction equipment manufacturer.”

Before joining Miller Formless, Ouellette spent the majority of his career at Aldi, one of the world’s top five grocery retailers. Starting in a district management position in 1999, he rose through the ranks quickly over his 21-year tenure and was instrumental in opening more than 100 new stores across the nation.

A native of Colton, Oregon, Ouellette attended Marquette University in Milwaukee where he earned degrees in business administration and marketing and broadcast and electronic communication. He now resides in South Barrington with his wife and three children.
