Car, landscaping truck collide in Crystal Lake

A two-vehicle crash briefly shut down a segment of Route 31 in Crystal Lake on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The crash involved a red Toyota and a landscaping truck. The road was shut down for a short time about 1:45 p.m. No serious injuries were reported, said Emily Baker, a spokesperson for the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
