A crash shut down a stretch of Walkup Road in Crystal Lake for about an hour Monday morning, but the road has since reopened.

Walkup was shut down between Hillside and Pleasant Hills roads until about 9 a.m. Monday. The site is near Prairie Ridge High School.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s office put out an alert at about 8 a.m. saying the road had shut down. No immediate details of the crash were released.
