Children of all ages enjoyed Saturday’s Easter egg hunt at Danny Carey Memorial Park in Utica. Those who were in the toddler age had help from their parents to gather the eggs Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Children across the Illinois Valley collected Easter eggs at hunts in various communities. One of the area’s hunts took place at Danny Carey Memorial Park in Utica, where children found real eggs and exchanged them for prizes. The Easter Bunny also made an appearance.

And then the race was on Saturday, April 16, 2022, as children run to gather eggs during Saturday’s Easter egg hunt at Danny Carey Memorial Park in Utica. The hunt was a nod to the past as real eggs were used for the hunt. Afterwards eggs could be exchanged and eligible for treats and prizes.
