The La Salle Public Library, effective immediately, will no longer charge late fees on books, magazines and audiobooks. Because of their popularity and cost to maintain, late fees will remain for DVDs, wireless hotspots and items ordered from outside the PrairieCat consortium.

Cardholders are responsible for what is checked out on their cards. If items checked out are not returned on time or returned damaged, cardholders will be responsible for the cost of the item to replace it. The La Salle Public Library Board of trustees and staff want to ensure everyone has access to the library’s resources.
