Oglesby hosts Harvest Fest

Children’s costume parade among Saturday activities

A children’s costume parade, face painting, a magician, a petting zoo, pony rides and a craft and vendor show are among the activities planned Saturday, Oct. 16, for Oglesby’s Harvest Fest at Senica Square.

The craft and vendor show is scheduled 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout downtown Oglesby, while other activities are set 1 to 5 p.m. around Senica Square.

Live music will be performed by Joey Figgiani.

The costume parade begins at 3 p.m. Children will march west down Walnut Street to the police station. Children are welcome to trick-or-treat at participating downtown businesses. Line up begins at 2:30 p.m. at the Oglesby Knights of Columbus, 307 E. Florence St.
