The La Salle Public Library will virtually host Natalie Martin, master gardener, when she presents, “Composting for Beginners” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Composting gives gardeners an environmentally-friendly way to add nutrients back to the soil while also reducing the amount of waste generated. In this virtual program, Martin will break down the ins and outs of composting, the different styles, and how to get started using compost.
