A Spring Valley man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child.
Hugo Heredia, 55, was arrested Tuesday morning, charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse following a lengthy investigation.
The Spring Valley Police Department was assisted in the investigation by Bureau County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Department of Children and Family Services and Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center.
Heredia needs $75,000 for release at Bureau County Jail.
