Sign up kids for free trip to Museum of Science and Industry through La Salle Public Library

Event planned Aug. 7

La Salle Public Library will offer a second field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago for youths ages 11 through 14 years, accompanied by a parent/guardian. The all-day event is planned for Saturday, Aug. 7, and is free for library guests. Cost of travel, lunch, and tickets will be paid via grant funding from the Illinois State Library.

The field trip will include a visit to two exhibits: the Henry Crown Space Center and Science Storms: Wonder is All-Natural.

Limited seats are available. Green River Lines will provide transportation. All participants must follow the COVID-19 guidelines set by the library, the museum and Green River during the trip.
