Mendota High School wins Junior Achievement Business Titan competition

Team advances to Iowa competition for a chance to win scholarships

Mendota High School competed Nov. 16 in the Junior Achievement Business Titan competition.

Mendota was represented by Giselle Gomez, Allison Stewart, Parker Guelde and Ethan Hanaman. This team of students won the competition, defeating teams from La Salle-Peru (two teams), Annawan, Kewanee (two teams) and Geneseo. They will now compete on Wednesday, Dec. 8, in Davenport, Iowa, against teams from Illinois and Iowa for scholarship funds.
