Illinois Valley Community College announced 2,700 of their students will soon receive their $1.7 million share of Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds.
HEERF, also known as the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriates Act, was authorized in late 2020 and allows for federal funds to be sent directly to students who were enrolled at a postsecondary institution during the Spring 2021 semester.
“I am proud of the work that’s being done by my staff to make a high-quality education affordable to everyone in IVCC’s district,” said Vice President for Student Services Mark Grzybowski.
“It’s never too late to start your journey. Call Crystal Credi at 815-224-0361 today to begin the process of enrolling.”
