Bella’s Bourbon Burger and Chicken Joint opens in Peru

Bella’s Bourbon Burger and Chicken Joint opened at the South Shore Boat Club in Peru.

Bella’s Bourbon Burger and Chicken Joint is located at 2380 Water St. and serves a menu, including jumbo wings with homemade sauces, hand-battered fried chicken, specialty burgers, among other items.

The owner and operators of Bella’s Bourbon Burger and Chicken Joint are opening their second location as they also own Moreno’s on Main in McNabb.

Owner Bella Gibson said the response he has received early on in their move to Peru has been nothing but positive. Gibson also mentioned he is excited to offer breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bella’s has indoor and outdoor seating as well as a view of the Illinois River.
