Motorists should seek alternative route between Peru and Mendota

Route 251 south of Mendota is being shut down as emergency crews respond to a vehicle crash at North 38th Road.

Both Mendota and Peru emergency crews have been called to the scene.

Motorists should avoid the area and seek detours. The NewsTribune will have more information once it becomes available.
