Daisy Arteaga, Sr., F, Mendota: Arteaga was the top offensive threat for the Trojans as she scored eight goals and had four assists. Arteaga was voted honorable mention All-Big Northern Conference.
Savanna Birkey, Sr., F, Princeton: Birkey transferred to Princeton from Bureau Valley and made a huge impact for the Tigers, scoring 20 goals and dishing out a team-best 11 assists.
Maggie Davis, Jr., D, Princeton: Davis was the leader of a strong Princeton defense. She was voted the team’s defensive MVP. Davis also contributed one goal and two assists to the sectional championship team.
Mariah Hobson, So., F, Princeton: Hobson was by far the area’s most explosive offensive threat, scoring 32 goals in 14 games played, which is 12 more goals than the next best scorer. She also had six assists.
Isabella Lambert, Jr., F, La Salle-Peru: Lambert was a strong No. 2 scoring option for the Cavaliers as she found the back of the net 13 times. She helped L-P to its first winning record and first postseason win in program history.
Litzy Lopez, Fr., MF/F, La Salle-Peru: Lopez made a splash in her first high school season as she was the Cavaliers’ top offensive weapon. She scored 14 goals and had nine assists. She was honorable mention Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association honorable mention all-sectional.
Lea Selquist, Sr., GK, La Salle-Peru: Selquist was the leader for the Cavaliers as the team had its first winning season and first postseason win in program history. She recorded 330 saves and had two shutouts. She was named Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Sectional.
Emily Stewart, So., D, Mendota: Stewart was a strong defender for the Trojans. She was voted National High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Sectional and Second-Team All-Big Northern Conference.
Brianna Strehl, Sr., D, La Salle-Peru: Strehl played every position on the field for the Cavaliers and excelled as a defender. She also scored three goals as she helped L-P to a wining record and the program’s first postseason win.
Isabella Tolentino, Jr., MF, Mendota: Tolentino was a solid scoring option for the Trojans as she had four goals and four assists. She was named National High School Soccer Coaches Association honorable mention all-sectional and honorable mention All-Big Northern Conference.
Viviana Robledo, Jr., MF, Princeton: Robledo scored three goals and three assists for the Tigers and came up big in the postseason with a pair of goals in Princeton’s sectional championship victory.
