Collegiate baseball showcase set for Sunday in Peru

Are you a high school baseball player looking to play at the next level?

The Central Illinois Collegiate Showcase Sunday at Veterans Park in Peru will feature scouts from 12 colleges, including Division I programs Illinois State, Northern Illinois, Western Illinois and Bradley.

Registration is at 8 a.m. followed by stretch and catch at 8:30 a.m.

Offensive and defensive instruction is from 9-11 a.m. followed by a lunch break from 11 a.m. to noon.

A pro style showcase is from noon to 3 p.m.

Cost is $175 per player.
