Illinois State Police District 17 in La Salle released the totals from its October specialty patrols.

Seat belt enforcement yielded six citations. Specialty traffic enforcement patrols yielded 23 citations and seven warnings. Nighttime enforcement patrols yielded nine citations and 13 written warnings. Alcohol countermeasure enforcement surveys yielded 10 citations and 36 written warnings.
