Octavio V. Duarte, 51, of Peru, was charged with no valid driver’s license and suspended registration at 11:57 p.m. Saturday at Fifth and Lafayette streets, La Salle police said.

Adrian Hernandez-Medellin, 30, of La Salle, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon at 2:11 a.m. Saturday at Third and Crosat streets, La Salle police said.

Ivan Gomez, 34, of Mendota, was charged with no valid driver’s license at 12:10 a.m. Friday at Michigan Avenue and Jefferson Street, Mendota police said.

Horace O. Brent, 36, of Calumet Park, was charged with disorderly conduct (false fire alarm at 2 a.m. Friday at 783 Main St., Mendota police said.

Sergio J. Brisbon, 36, of Mendota, was picked up on an Indiana state warrant for failure to appear (possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon) at 2:09 a.m. Friday at La Salle County Housing, 100 S. Ninth Ave., Mendota police said.

Jimmy D. Howard, 53, homeless, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear Friday at 1020 Piper St., Ottawa police said.

Kelly L. Burns-Smith, 46, of Ottawa, was picked up on a parole warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections on Saturday in the 300 block of East McKinley Road, Ottawa police said.

Paul W. Ritchie, 46, of Marseilles, was charged with DUI, one headlamp, improper lane use, illegal transportation of alcohol and no insurance Saturday at 1400 W. Norris Drive, Ottawa police said.

Crystal F. Strok, 37, of Marseilles, was charged with driving while suspended Saturday in the 800 block of East Norris Drive, Ottawa police said.

Latrice Wright, 38, of Streator, was charged with criminal trespass to property at Saturday at Walmart, Ottawa police said.

Jackie Rhodes, 32, of Ottawa, was charged with retail theft Saturday at Walmart, Ottawa police said.

Melvin Smith, 32, of Streator, was charged with retail theft Saturday at Walmart, Ottawa police said.

Samuel Jenkins, 41, homeless, was charged with battery Friday at McDonald’s, Ottawa police said.

Samuel Zamudio, 38, of Streator, was arrested 9:31 a.m. Friday at North Park and East Grant streets on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant on a charge of driving while license suspended, Streator police said. Zamudio was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Several windows were reported Sunday broken at 32 Northpoint Drive, Streator police said. It also was reported a portion of a fence had been knocked down overnight Saturday at a residence on the 500 block of South Fifth Avenue, Streator police said.
