Mendota man charged with child pornography

Investigators say they found pictures, videos of child pornography in his possession

A Mendota man was charged with child pornography following a months-long investigation, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Guy E. Stanford, 47, could face 3-7 years in prison if convicted of child pornography, a Class 2 felony.

In a press release, the sheriff’s office said investigators found pictures and videos containing child pornography content in Stanford’s possession. Bond has been set at $75,000.
