An Ottawa woman found Aug. 31 in an Ottawa quarry died from an accidental fall. The La Salle County Coroner’s Office has concluded there was no foul play.

Ashley M. Shuler, 35, died of multiple blunt injuries sustained from a fall. Coroner Rich Ploch further disclosed that Shuler was not an employee of U.S. Silica, which operates the quarry located at 1430 Route 71 in Ottawa.
