• Edward Maclin, 23, of La Salle, was charged with criminal trespass to state-supported land at 2:12 a.m. Monday at 901 Grant St., La Salle police said.
• Kristopher R. Mavis, 36, of La Salle, was charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign and no insurance at 11:46 p.m. Friday at Seventh and Bucklin streets, La Salle police said.
• Laurie A. Graf, 43, of Streator, was arrested 1:38 a.m. on the 100 block of Spring Street on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of trespassing, Streator police said. Graf was taken to La Salle County Jail.
Fire calls
• Ottawa firefighters responded 1:25 p.m. Friday to 906 Canal St. for an alarm set off for an unknown reason. There was no fire, heat or smoke.
• At 5:43 p.m. Saturday, Ottawa firefighters responded to 408 W. Superior St. for an activated carbon monoxide detector. Firefighters discovered that the furnace had been producing the gas, and the homeowner was told to leave it off until it can be repaired.
• Ottawa firefighters responded 11:18 a.m. Sunday to 900 Paul St. for an alarm activated for an unknown reason. There was no fire, heat or smoke.
