Library announces activities the week of Dec. 6

4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6: Marc Chagall Art, kindergarten through second grade. This month students will learn about the works of Marc Chagall-and then create some “stained glass” art of their own.

10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7: Ready, Set, Read! A fun story time especially designed for 3-6 year olds. Pre-registration is required.

10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8: Shake, Rattle, Read! A musical story time for ages 6 months to 3 years old. Advance registration is required.

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8: Crafter’s Corner, ninth through 12th grades. Make some snowflake decorations out of paper bags.

7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8: Wednesday Book Group, adults. “Murder on the Orient Express” by Agatha Christie will be discussed at this patron-led book group.

5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9: Gaming Group, sixth through eighth grades. Card games, board games, video games. Stop by the library and play a few.

7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9: Festive sweater bingo, adults. Wear your favorite festive holiday sweater to this month’s free adult bingo. Play for chances to win gift card prizes.

1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11: The Loop Group, adults. Knit and crochet in a fun environment with knowledgeable people.
