Streator Walmart completes renovation

The Streator Area Chamber of Commerce helped Walmart celebrate the remodeling of its supercenter at 2415 N. Bloomington St.

The remodel includes the introduction of online pickup and delivery that will help customers save time, Walmart said in a press release.

The upgrades complement the measures the company has taken in its U.S. stores to help protect associates and customers from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are happy to introduce online pickup and delivery to the Streator market,” said Store Manager Matt Finley. “We hope customers who enjoy shopping online will enjoy the convenience of the new services and we look forward to welcoming our customers to our newly renovated store.”

Customers will also enjoy the following store improvements:

• Renovated pharmacy waiting area with additional seating
• Expanded selections in the grocery, home and electronic departments
• New signage and flooring throughout the store
