With the help of volunteers and several sponsors, the Starved Rock Regional Center conducted a trunk-or-treat event Saturday at the La Salle County 4-H Fairgrounds in Ottawa, featuring a haunted house with three levels of scary “sensory hour,” “not-so-scary” and “full of scares, full of fun.” Along with businesses and organizations handing out loads of candy, there were games, hayrack rides, inflatable activities, food and other activities geared for families.
