Tangled Roots is hosting Oktoberfest complete with food, games and carnival rides starting at 4 p.m. Friday and running through Sunday at Ottawa’s Jordan block and Washington Square.

The event will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Also featured will be two stages with live entertainment, a vendor market, local food vendors and authentic Bavarian food.

Local food vendors will be on site in addition to a selection of beer from Tangled Roots, Nik & Ivy Brewing Company, Ace Cider, Maplewood Brewery & Distillery and St. Bernardus.

Windy City Amusements will be providing a carnival on the Jordan block, 101-123 W. Main St. Unlimited rides can be purchased for $25 or individual tickets can be purchased for $1 each, or 44 tickets for $40. Go to windycityamusements.com for more information.
